Saturday 24th July is 'Stress down day'

Today is Stress Down Day!

This is a fun and easy initiative designed to reduce stress and raise vital funds for Lifeline Australia.

Stress Down Day promotes happiness, encourages help seeking and raises awareness of suicide prevention through raising funds for Lifeline's crisis support services.

Research shows that 90% of Australians feel stressed - with 74% of people reporting being stressed from work.

On ‘Stress Down Day’ take 30 minutes to reduce your stress and give yourself a break. This is more important than ever with all the lockdowns we have been enduring during the COVID pandemic.

You could try

  • Going for a walk

  • 30 minutes of yoga

  • Riding your bike

  • Putting on some of your favourite music and having a dance

Whatever makes you feel good
